BBNaija 2022 winner Phyna has become a trending topic online after breaking down in tears, revealing that the reality show still owes her $1BTC, now valued at over N100 million.
In a new video circulating online, Phyna expressed frustration that despite winning the reality show, she feels like she is still working as if she didn’t win anything. She recalled that out of the N100 million prize she was supposed to receive, she only got N50 million. The remaining gifts, including $1BTC from Quidax Global, a one-year supply of Pepsi from Seven-Up Bottling Company, a trip to Dubai from Travelbeta, and a one-year supply of soap products from Evans Industries (Unik Soap), have not been fully delivered since 2022.
Phyna stated that after publicly calling out the sponsors, she received all the promised gifts except the $1BTC. In her heartfelt plea, she said, “Nigerians Please Help Me, Big Brother Naija are still owing me $1BTC over N100 million that I won. They have refused to give me the money and are saying I should do my worst and take them to court, that I can’t win against them.”
She added, “Big Brother has ruined my brand and image, making me drag them online for something that’s rightfully mine, thereby making Nigerians see me as a nuisance and a very troublesome bad person. Since 2022 when I won Big Brother Naija, they have been owing me the ($1BTC) N100 million prize money I won, and they have refused to give it to me till today, telling me I can never win in court and I should go ahead and sue them.”
