“You Are Not Going Anywhere” – Fans React to Boxer Anthony Joshua’s Reflections on Death

British Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua has sparked numerous reactions online following his recent post about death.

In a message shared on his Snapchat account, 34-year-old Anthony Joshua advised people not to fear death, noting that physiologically everyone will die.

Anthony Joshua’s last fight was in March 2024, where he knocked out his opponent Francis Ngannou in the second round of their highly anticipated heavyweight boxing match in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Additionally, Joshua was present when Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk defeated the United Kingdom’s Tyson Fury to become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In his post about death, Anthony Joshua wrote:

“Don’t be afraid to die as you will always live on one way or another. In the sense, I am Anthony Joshua, but I am a makeup of many past generations, and I will be a part of my future generations to come once I create life and pass on.

Physiologically, I will die – but if I create life, I live on. When they say you are so much like your grandad or your grandma… You are them, and if you knew your great-great-grandparents, it would be the same thing said.”
