Popular Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has taken to social media to celebrate his milestone achievement as the number 1 highest-grossing actor in Nollywood.
Leading the pack with an impressive N1.009 billion in box office earnings, Timini Egbuson tops the list, followed by Jide Kene with N799 million in revenue. The list also features Stan Nze (N166 million), Ramson Nouah (N151 million), Kunle Remi (N148 million), and Emeka Ike (N144 million).
In 2023, Egbuson appeared in nine Nollywood films: “A Tribe Called Judah,” “The Kujus Again,” “Big Love,” “Honey Money,” “Something Like Gold,” “Unforgivable,” “The Bloom Boys,” “The Modern Woman,” and “Maniac.” His stellar performances in these films have collectively earned him over N1 billion, making him the highest-grossing actor in Nollywood for the year 2023.
Reacting to this remarkable achievement, Timini Egbuson expressed his gratitude to God, his fans, and himself for his hard work. He acknowledged the support from his fans and the grace of God as key factors in his success. He also took the opportunity to hail himself as the most bankable actor in Africa, declaring that every producer wants to work with him.
