I am not cheating again - Davido

Afrobeats singer, Davido, has vowed never to cheat on his wife, Chioma Adeleke, saying he doesn’t want controversies anymore.

Appearing on The Breakfast Club, Davido explained that he has five children from four different women, stressing that he has no reason to cheat anymore.

“I don’t want wahala. I am okay. I can cheat if I want to but I don’t. It’s too much wahala. I have 5 kids with 4 women,” he said.

Davido also shared his opinion on polygamy, saying he believes it is stressful.

He said, “In Nigeria, you can have more than one wife if you want to. A lot of people do. It’s rampant in the eastern part of Nigeria, especially Niger Delta. My uncle who is a governor has two wives. I have another uncle whom all his wives are living with him happily. He is a Christian. He is very rich. But that doesn’t mean nothing. There is still wahala. Despite all the money, there’s still wahala.

“I would rather have a monogamous home. Maybe it is because I have had bad experiences. Sometimes, experience is the best teacher. It is just never not worth it. I am not cheating again. I have no plan of marrying another wife.”
