The recent launch of several road construction projects, an overhead bridge, and township roads in Zone C is a testament to the governor’s commitment to transforming the region.

The projects launched by Governor Alia are expected to have a significant impact on the economic development of Zone C. Some of the key projects includes,

1.Oju-Awajir, Igumale-Agila, and Obagaji-Okokolo-Agabe Road_: Work has already commenced on this critical road project, which will improve connectivity and facilitate the movement of goods and services.

2.Utonkon Ichama-Okpoga-Ugbokolo Road and Ugboju to Onyagede Road, Scheduled to be flagged off this month, these road projects will further enhance connectivity and economic development in the region.

3.Overhead Bridge in Otukpo_: Already approved, this project will improve safety and reduce congestion in the area.

4.Otukpo Township Road (Edikwu-Eupi Road), Already approved, this project will enhance connectivity and facilitate economic development in the township.

The development of these infrastructure projects is expected to create numerous job opportunities for youths in Zone C, particularly skilled laborers. This will not only provide economic empowerment but also help to reduce poverty and improve living standards. The projects will also stimulate economic activities in the region, attracting investors and promoting economic growth.
