Davido reportedly paid N17bn to perform at Indian royal wedding

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, aka Davido, has reportedly received $10 million (N17 billion) to perform at royal wedding in India.

Instagram blogger, Tunde Ednut, who broke the news claimed that the singer received the fee to perform at the wedding of Indian media personality Alkesh Thavrani taking place in Udaipur, India, on Saturday.

Ednut wrote, “$10,000,000 = N17,080,000,000.

A video circulating online showcased Davido’s arrival in India, where he received a warm welcome from fans ahead of the wedding tomorrow.

Recall that a few months ago unconfirmed reports emerged that Rema received $3 million to perform at the wedding of Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani’s son, Anant Ambani, and daughter of pharma tycoons Viren and Shaila Merchant, Radhika Merchant.

When asked about the report in a subsequent interview, Rema did not confirm nor debunk it.
