Job Title: Cashier

Location: Badagry, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and efficient financial transactions.
You will be responsible for handling cash and card payments, operating point-of-sale systems, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and courteous manner.
Maintain a positive and welcoming demeanor, contributing to a pleasant shopping experience.
Accurately process cash and card payments. Operate point-of-sale systems efficiently and accurately.
Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily sales.
Adhere to cash handling procedures to minimize loss and fraud.
Assist in maintaining inventory levels and restocking shelves.
Monitor product expiration dates and report any issues to management.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling, security, and health and safety.
Adhere to local and national regulations governing retail sales and tax collection.

Qualifications

OND in Accounting or its equivalent.
Previous experience in a retail or hospitality setting preferred.
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Salary
N70,000 monthly.
