Job Title: Accountant Trainee

Location: Aba, Abia

Job Description

  • Are you ready to kickstart your career in accounting? We are excited to announce an opening for an Accountant Trainee to join our friendly and dynamic team!
  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow under the guidance of experienced professionals, all while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • As an Accountant Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in various accounting functions, from bookkeeping to financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
  • Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support senior accountants with reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Participate in auditing processes and assist with compliance preparations.
  • Input and manage data using accounting software.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of transactions.
  • Learn and apply accounting principles to various tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress).
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting and finance.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

Salary
N150,000 / Month.
