The First Place I Went When I Ran From Home Was London

Nigerian singer, Davido has revealed the first place he went to after running away from home.

According to him, he ran to London to cool off.

He also revealed that he was the one who introduced British-Nigerian producer, Maleek Berry to Wizkid.

The singer who recently married his wife in a grand wedding made this known in an interview on the +44 podcast show.

According to Davido, he ran from his father’s home in Nigeria to the United Kingdom where he made friends with Maleek.

The record label boss added that he was responsible for the connection between his colleague, Wizkid and the British producer.

“The first place I went to when I ran from home was London. London is like a second home for me. I am the first to know Maleek Berry, I introduced Maleek Berry to Wizkid. From there, I cam back to Nigeria,” he said partly.
