Remi Tinubu: I’ve directed Provost to revoke sanction on nursing student – Delta Health Commissioner

Delta State Commissioner of Health, Dr. Joseph Onojaeme, has revealed that he has directed the Provost of the Delta State College of Nursing Sciences, Agbor, Evbodagbe Rita Ogonne, to revoke the sanction on the nursing student who shared the controversial welcome song for the first lady Oluremi Tinubu, on her TikTok page.

Speaking in a video message shared via his social media page, Onojaeme said he has also reached out to the student in question, Nurse Osato Edobe and the student confirmed that the letter has been withdrawn.

He said, “On the trending letter of query issued to the student of nursing Agbor, I have instructed the Provost to withdraw the letter. We don’t want to victimise any of the students.

“I have also reached out to the student in question and the student confirmed to me that the letter was withdrawn late yesterday night. So, I want the public to be aware of this. There is calm everywhere. We are not victimising any of the students.”
